Frequently Asked Questions
-
Where can I purchase a V.Elizabeth original piece?
Besides this website, my artwork will be "dropped" over on my instagram page! I will be doing monthly drops of select pieces as well as seasonal Collections. All items will be sold through my instagram and/or this website.
-
Do you take commissions?
Yes, however I am very selective on what commissions I spend time on. I try to keep my work consistent with my style to create a fluent body of work. I will also take select Bobbin Frame commissions - custom colors, sizes, etc.
-
What materials do you use?
Depending on the piece, I will use canvases, canvas boards, or canvas paper sheets. For mediums, I use a high pigmented acrylic paint and mix to get the desired color palette I’m looking for. All completed pieces are varnished or have a fixative spray on them.
-
How do you make your colorful bobbin frames?
The bobbin frames are hand-made on a standard wood wall frame with applied wood pieces. These ‘bobbins’ are applied with commercial-grade super glue and then primed and sprayed with three coats of paint. To finish the bobbin frames off, I give them a final coat of high-gloss lacquer paint!

Could you provide more information on the gold frames?
All gold frames are created by a manufacturer and framed personally by the artist. Gold frames vary in quality and size. The ‘chunky’ gold frames that hold the canvas boards are Plein Aire, and are made of solid wood and are extremely high quality.
-
What's your return policy?
All items are handmade/hand-painted by the artist and therefore they may have minor imperfections. For all artwork, SALES ARE FINAL. If you have any questions regarding materials, color or framing, please email Victoria (velizabethart@gmail.com) prior to checkout and she will be happy to answer questions or send additional photos. Due to the nature of photography, colors can vary slightly from photos to real life.

Do you have a trade and/or interior designer program?
I absolutely love partnering with interior designers on special projects, and as a fellow interior designer, I am very comfortable speaking your language when it comes to design. I also offer exclusive designer pricing, and early access to collections and commission openings. Please send me a note to join my interior design program.

How does shipping work?
All paintings sold on my website ship for free within the continental United States. I do not currently ship outside of the United States. All items are handmade/hand-painted by the artist and therefore they may have minor imperfections. All items are wrapped with care & include insurance on all purchases. Due to carrier shipping delays, I cannot guarantee a delivery window. Most items should arrive within two to three weeks, but it be shorter or longer depending on the nature of the piece you purchased. For additional questions please contact me.

What happens if my order comes damaged?
Should you receive a damaged item, you MUST take photos of the damage done to the purchased item, interior of the box, exterior of the box (all sides), etc. in order to file a claim. Without sufficient photos of the box (inside & out), sadly nothing can be done to prove the damage in order to claim the shipping insurance. The holiday season typically means more packages are going out across the nation, which means our mail carriers are moving more quickly and more likely to not have handled each package with care.
